About 15 years have passed since the idea of digital storytelling was conceived as a tool in different communication fields. It is now clear that the new media users increasingly demand data and information organised in a narrative framework. Only very recently the sectors related to communication of historical, artistic and cultural heritage begun to pose the issue of transmission and sharing information in the new digital environments. In this paper we propose some case study of transmedia storytelling strategies tested at teaching level at the University of Cagliari.
