How do Digital Humanities contribute to teaching History? Why and how should we use them? I examine the contribution of Digital Humanities to the humanities in the contemporary world and how they modify certain scenarios. I describe the risks and possible uses of digital technology and the competencies required to approach this field. A novel aspect is presented: the development of a system that produces new knowledge, publishes/disseminates such that there is a positive feedback mechanism for drawing new knowledge and starting a new cycle.
